Here’s Anna Kounikova in the latest edition of Capitol File magazine looking drop dead sexy and proving once again that she is, without a doubt, the hottest athlete the world has ever seen. That’s right, ever. I mean, c’mon; just look at anyone of these scorching hot photos… kinda makes me wish that she still were an athlete so we could see her prancing around her in her cute little tennis outfit. Enjoy!

ANGELA SIMMONS AND
ROB KARDASHIAN

well this is odd...
ROB KARDASHIAN

Rob Kardashian, Kim Kardashian's little brother, is going public with his new romance by showing girlfriend Angela Simmons off at his 23rd birthday in Las Vegas on Friday night (12Mar10).
The socialite and reality TV star has been dating rap star Joseph 'Revd. Run' Simmons' daughter for some time, but the pair chose to keep the romance quiet.
However, Angela Simmons has agreed to join her beau on the red carpet at his Jet nightclub birthday bash at the Mirage hotel - and go public.
An invite to the big bash reads, "The first son of America’s favourite family will be joined by new girlfriend, Angela Simmons, who is making an appearance with her new flame for the first time."

The two artists both tweeted that they’d be appearing on the show, which will send the first of its 12 finalists packing on Wednesday night (March 17). Cook, who recently returned from a songwriting trip to Sweden, told his followers, “Oh and I brought a present back for everyone. We’ll be performing on idol this wednesday! Be sure to check it out!”
Ke$ha’s announcement was a little more, uh, succinct: “Party time american idol woot t minus 3 dayz.”
If both Cook and Ke$ha perform, it could be a pretty crowded hour on Wednesday: Several reports also say that singer-guitarist Orianthi — the guitar player for Michael Jackson in “This Is It” — is also set to perform. That’s all in addition to the cheesy group number, Ford commercial and elimination drama that are staples of “Idol” results shows.
The top 12 will sing Rolling Stones songs on Tuesday, and one of them will go home after watching Cook, Orianthi and Ke$ha do their thing on Wednesday.

I think I might actually watch this episode.

Jessica Harp, 50% of country duo The Wreckers, recently wrote on her website/board;
My sweet friends.
If someone had told me a couple years ago that I’d be sitting here writing you this letter I would’ve laughed. But as I’ve been through so much personally and professionally those last couple of years, and the older I get, I realize more and more how quickly time flies. How short life really is. And most of all, that change is ok, and sometimes for the best.
I’m writing to you with news that I’m certain you’re not expecting, and will most likely be very surprised by. After reading through your responses to my last post, I had a good long cry being the sap I am, knowing how wonderful you are and that I would be having to share with you something so unexpected. My hope is that you will understand and support what I’m about to tell you, just as you have lovingly and tirelessly supported me for so long.
Last week I announced to those in my professional world a decision that I only recently made in certainty. It’s a decision that began as a ‘what if?’ out of preparation, then slowly turned into ‘what if?’ out of personal necessity. It’s a decision that was long thought about, long discussed with those closest to me, long soul searched and prayed about. It wasn’t easy…until it came to feel right in one’s search for fulfillment and happiness. Until I realized a change of heart.
It’s with the certainty of choice, but the heavy heart of a woman who will mourn the closing of a very long chapter in her life that I tell you…I have decided at this point to stop pursuing my career as a recording artist and focus on songwriting full time.

DioGuardi, 69, was a congressman from Westchester County from 1985 to 1988 and is now a certified public accountant.
So far, the only candidate to officially enter the contest for the GOP nomination is Bruce Blakeman, a former Nassau County legislator.
Other Republicans reportedly considering a run include Dan Senor, a former Bush administration foreign policy adviser.

Neil Gaiman discussed a "Death" movie with Guillermo Del Toro last week, but Matthew Vaughn still has a "Sandman" adaptation on his mind. After talking to Gaiman, however, he believes the Vertigo series would be better served by an HBO TV treatment as opposed to a big-screen theatrical presentation.
"I think it would make an amazing HBO series, you know, where you can just really create that world," Vaughn told MTV News. "There's too much to get into an hour and a half, two hours."
At a whopping 75 issues, Vaughn's position may be well founded -- since the perspective came following an exchange with the author himself.
"[Neil and I] talked about it," the "Kick-Ass" director said. "I think as a movie it's virtually impossible to make properly."
"The Sandman" could easily balloon to seven or ten seasons, rivaling both "The Sopranos" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation," so even if that's where its destiny lies, there's going to have to be some skillful and surgical editing. Both the expansive cast and vast array of sets alone would require a big-money commitment from the producers. Getting a station to back it long enough to complete the tale would likewise need some true believes on the business end.

Nicole Eggert talks with Access’ Maria Menounos about Corey Haim’s allegations that he was molested when he was 14 years old. Did she know about the allegations? And if so, does she have any idea who it was that allegedly assaulted Corey? (That would be a yes.)

Maria Menounos’ interview with Corey Haim’s ex, Nicole Eggert, caused a huge uproar from the AH Nation - the Nation was upset about a question regarding Michael Jackson. Now, she helps to put that interview into context. (That would be a "yeah, sure". Why didn't you show what she said about MJ before you got ripped to shreds on the internet anyway?)

Courtney Love's new incarnation of Hole is off to a good start. The band, who hasn't released a single since 2000, has the most added song on Alternative radio and the 2nd most added song on Active Rock. The song will be available on iTunes on on Tuesday the 16th. The band, who have added second dates in LA and NY after the initial shows sold out, will be performing on Letterman on April 27th and Jimmy Kimmel on the 29th. A few days after his death, Corey Haim’s mother has spoken to Access Hollywood to outline the results of her son’s autopsy, which have not yet been made public. Judy Haim says the coroner called her to report his findings.
The coroner reportedly told her Corey had fluid in his lungs and an enlarged heart, and died of pulmonary congestion. In the days leading up to his death, Corey had presented several flu-like symptoms. Whether this is related to his death has yet to be confirmed.
That Corey had battled an addiction to prescription medication for years is a fact that has been reported by the media repeatedly. Whether the prescription drugs found in the apartment contributed to his death remains unknown for now, as the coroner is awaiting the toxicology reports.
Corey had reportedly previously been suffering from heart problems, his former fiancé Tiffany Shepis told PEOPLE. “Every time he would go to a doctor they’d tell him he had really bad arrhythmia, probably due to clogged arteries,” she said. “They all said he should have it taken care of. But, being from Canada, his insurance was there, so he never went and got it done.”
